The highlighted summaries give a plain English overview of the section that follows. The full text controls, please read it, as the summaries do not capture all of the terms.

1.Introduction

The Hitch Fit System ("The Hitch Fit System," "we," "us," or "our") publishes and sells a digital body-recomposition system built for rotational and shift workers, the eBook, the Hitch Fit App, and companion worksheets, trackers, and planners. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit thehitchfitsystem.com, use the Hitch Fit App, or purchase one of our digital products, how we use that information, and the choices you have regarding your data.

By accessing thehitchfitsystem.com, using the Hitch Fit App, or purchasing any of our products, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2.Information We Collect

We collect information that helps us deliver the eBook and the Hitch Fit App, run our business, and improve the experience for future customers. The categories below describe the data we typically gather.

Traffic & Device Data

We automatically log non-identifying technical information such as IP address, browser type, device characteristics, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps. This data helps us monitor site and app performance, understand where our customers come from, and improve the checkout experience.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (including advertising pixels from Meta, TikTok, and Google) to remember preferences, measure conversions, and attribute purchases to the ads or content that drove them. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, although some features of the site may not function correctly as a result.

Order & Contact Information

When you purchase the system, subscribe to our email list, or submit a contact form, we collect information such as your name, email address, billing address, and payment details. Payment card information is handled directly by our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) and is never stored on our servers.

App & Progress Data

When you use the Hitch Fit App, we store the check-in data you log so we can render your trend dashboards and sync your rotation calendar and days-off plans across devices. Depending on the pillars you use, this can include: your rotation pattern and shift schedule; body weight; body-composition measurements such as waist and body-fat percentage; sleep data (hours, quality, latency, and interruptions); energy levels; nutrition and protein; caffeine, supplements, and naps; workouts completed, streaks, and milestones; hormonal and Low-T self-reported symptom check-ins; any bloodwork values you choose to enter; and your Days Off planning entries. Your progress data belongs to you. You can permanently delete it at any time from inside the App, and you can request a copy of it by contacting us (see Section 5).

Health & Sensitive Data

Some of the information above, in particular your body-composition, sleep, and hormonal/Low-T self-reports, is health-related and is treated as sensitive. We collect it only to power the features you use inside the App, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with advertising or analytics platforms. It is tied to your account and protected as described in Section 7.

Date of Birth & Age

We collect your date of birth (or an age confirmation) when you create an account so we can confirm you meet our 16+ minimum age. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Testimonials & Customer Feedback

We may display testimonials and results shared by customers who have consented to their use. We obtain permission before publishing any identifying details, and customers may request removal at any time by emailing us.

Several of the service providers above (including our payment processors, email/SMS senders, analytics and advertising platforms, and app backend) store or process data on servers in the United States and other countries. This means your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed outside your home province or country, including in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from your own. The Hitch Fit System operates from Alberta, Canada, and handles personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Our U.S.-based parent company and U.S. service providers process data on our behalf under contractual protections.

In addition to the rights listed in Section 5, if you are in Canada you have the right to:

  • Know why we collect, use, or disclose your personal information, and to have that collection limited to what is reasonable
  • Access the personal information we hold about you and request corrections
  • Withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, at any time
  • Understand how your information is safeguarded when it is transferred outside Canada (see Section 4)

To make a request, email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, Canadian residents may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca).

7.Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Payment card data is processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers (Stripe and PayPal) and never touches our servers. While no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we continually review and improve our security practices.

8.Orders & Digital Delivery

The eBook, worksheets, planners, and 90 days of free access to the Hitch Fit App are delivered instantly via a download link on the confirmation page and by email. We keep purchase records for tax, accounting, and customer support purposes.
